I love to share the joy of creating art with different techniques and materials. 

I love to crochet, sew, read, paint, and craft.

Degrees and Certifications: I attended Winthrop College to earn my Elementary Education Degree and The University of South Carolina to earn my degree in Library and Information Science.

I have always enjoyed being around children! I I especially love being the librarian!  It gives me the opportunity to be able to grow a love of reading in students that will hopefully last a lifetime!Of course I love to READ!!  I also love to do embroidery and crafting projects.  I love to travel and explore new places!

Miss Abby Traylor

I am excited to be the next Music Teacher and Band Director at HGSES! I am a native of Sharon, SC and graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelors of Music including a certificate in Commercial Music and Audio Production and a Bachelors in Science-Education. During my time at WCU, I was able to study abroad and student teach at the Berlin Cosmopolitan School in Berlin, Germany. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy hiking, sewing, and playing Nintendo games. I cannot wait to work with your students and return to the school I attended many years ago!
